The ROCK 3.0: Progress Report 02.07.14

This morning, I continued to work on staging the layout for the first op session as well as repaired about five more cars.

Box cars are loading up clocks to be shipped to distributors like JC Penneys, Sears, etc.

Hoppers are being filled with sand on the left at Belrose Silica and emptied on the right at PQ.

Sand hoppers are starting to be loaded at Ottawa Silica.

Some loads are destined for Libbey-Owens-Ford while others are headed to the Erie Lackawanna to the Corning Elmira, New York plant.

The first op session date has been set for Saturday, March 29th!  Now, time to get the railroad ready to run!

At lunch today, I stripped four more Athearn airslide hoppers of their logo to replace with the larger billboard logo.  One, I only partially stripped and will weather this one up with more rust.
