Sanded down more and cleaned out the flangeways at PQ. Painted the asphalt. I'm hoping to weather and detail the asphalt later this weekend.

The ROCK 3.0: Progress Report 09.04.14
Tonight, I worked on more basic ground cover. I covered the following areas:
- North of Ottawa Avenue
- Area between Putnam St and Mill St.
- Area north of the tracks in Utica.
I also worked around the lot at Philadelphia Quartz. I added a few more feeder wires here and cleaned out the flangeways on the industry tracks.

The ROCK 3.0: Progress Report 09.03.14
Today was a really busy day, but I managed to get a little bit done on the layout. I vacuumed up the excess grass from the base coat around South Ottawa from yesterday's application. I also drew the yellow lines on Ottawa Avenue. It is looking better already. Next step, static grass.

This is some kind of high power marker I found at Hobby Lobby. I have tried using paint pens in the past, but they don't seem to do well. They either work one time and then useless or just don't perform well at all. It's hard to regulate the paint coming out of those pens.
I still need to use some weathering powders to weather the road.

The ROCK 3.0: Progress Report 09.01.14
This evening, I continued the scenery work in Peru near the Westclox plant. I cleaned up the plaster on Water St. I completed the hill in front of Westclox that goes up to the fascia board. I added plastic forms and created Putnam St on the left side of Westclox. My goal is to work on some scenery every day this week.
